Louis Schindler

Vice President

MEDCO Vice President Louis Schindler has been working with Baylor Health Care System for three decades. As Vice President, he manages daily operations and is responsible for the project managers on various construction projects.

On a typical day, he attends and contributes to pre-planning meetings for upcoming projects; participates in project and employee interviews; attends meetings with potential sub-contractors; and helps project managers resolve problems.

Over his career, Louis has held the positions of Carpenter, Superintendent and Project Manager before taking his post as Vice President. He constructed MRI facilities, data processing centers and major hospital renovations for Baylor. In fact, he’s had a hand in most Baylor projects.

Louis appreciates the variety of challenges and growth opportunities he’s received at MEDCO Construction. Louis believes the leadership training MEDCO provides has enhanced his career development, and he is grateful for the tremendous investment the company has made in him over the years.

Louis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. He resides in Grapevine, Texas, with his wife, Gwen. They have a daughter, a son and three grandchildren.
